Even though neuroscience is a relatively new field, people have been attempting to study the brain for centuries. We are still a long ways away from fully understanding how the brain functions, and how it impacts our behavior. If this interests you, then you might consider a major in neuroscience.
In order to be successful in this field, you will have to have a love of math and science. As this field is multidisciplinary, you will have to be open to learning a range of different concepts. Keep in mind that pursuing a career as a neuroscientists means that you’ll have to complete a lot of schooling. Many people start with a bachelors degree, then a PhD, then will do a postdoctoral fellowship.
