One of the biggest mysterious of science is the very thing that created the field in the first place – the human brain. Scientists have been trying to understand how perception, consciousness, memory, and behavior work for a long time, and there is still so much left to learn.

The pursuit of his B.S. in Neuroscience has helped to establish the foundation of Usher Khan’s lifelong aspiration to become a physician. He gives an overview of the neuroscience field for people interested in pursuing it.

The study of neuroscience involves bringing together many different scientific and mathematical fields together in order to understand how the nervous system works. Essentially, the human body contains trillions of nerves that pick up signals from the world around you. These nerves are all connected to each other and to the brain, which come together to create the nervous system. This incredibly complicated system is what help every single person to sense and interpret the world around them. It also effects everything you do, such as breathing, blinking, thinking, speaking, and so much more.
